Junkitz helps RSC ring in the New Year with a contest!

Ready-Set-Create is kicking off 2007 in style, and we've joined together with Junkitz to do it right! Starting on January 1, 2007 and going through January 31, 2007 (deadline is midnight MST), you will have the chance to win a $50 Junkitz prize pack! All you have to do is create a layout using Junkitz products, then post your layout in the Ready-Set-Create gallery. We have a special Junkitz category all set up for you. Simply upload your layout and list the products you have used. Our panel of judges will select the winning layout based on the following criteria:

1. Use of Junkitz products
2. Originality
3. Photography used on the layout

In addition to your Junkitz prize pack, the winner will also receive a one-year subscription to Ready-Set-Create. This contest is not open to employees of Junkitz, or Creative Team members of Ready-Set-Create. One entry per person (two page layouts are acceptable). Layouts may be any size (i.e. 6x6, 8x8, 8.5x11, 12x12). You must be a registered member of the Ready-Set-Create community in order to submit your entry in our gallery. You can register at

Hi all! A quick intro from ME! I am Maria LaFrance, one of the creative team members at RSC. On most MBs I go by Maria in CT. I've been with RSC since it became RSC, and have loved every bit of it. I started as a paper scrapper about 5 years ago, and during my pregnancy in 2005 I discovered digital scrapping. With an infant (now toddler) paper scrapping became increasingly harder for me. Then my basement craft area flooded and all of my supplies were boxed up and put away in October of 2005, so I had no choice but to go exclusively digital! Occasionally I still pull out the scissors and tape runner, but more often than not I am plopped in front of my computer creating a layout. I am also a digital scrapbooking product designer at Digital Freebies, as well as being an admin at that site. I am on the creative teams of retrodiva (Digital Freebies), Traci Reed (A Cherry on Top), Amy Bleser (A Cherry on Top), and Laura Deacetis (Sweet Shoppe Designs), in addition to being on the team at RSC.

In "real" life I have a Ph.D. in Psychology and am a part time college professor, and part time SAHM. I am married to Dan (4/26/03) and mommy to Piper (7/17/05). We have a dog Max, who is a mutt :) and barks at everything that drives down the street (my poor neighbors). I grew up all over the place, but mostly in IL and IN, and my parents and brother live in IN.

Here's me and Piper... not the greatest photo, but it's what you get when you hold the camera out at arms length to try to get YOU in a photo for once LOL

If ya wanna read more about me and what I do, check out my blog it's linked over there somewhere :)

Introducing Myself.....
Hi! My name is Kim Lillpop and reside in the very seasonal Central Illinois. I am about 2 hours from St. Louis and three hours from Chicago. I am very honored to be a part of the Ready-Set-Create CT! So, let me tell you a little about myself....

I've been married to my husband, Mark, for almost seven years. We have a very happy little girl, Kaitlyn, who is five years old and is in kindergarten. She is the subject of almost all my scrapbooking layouts. Besides being a full-time mom (that's my first job), and I am also the marketing services manager for a fire hydrant manufacturer (this is my 8-5 job). Besides scrapbooking, I love Grey's Anatomy, reading, watching movies, eating out, and shopping!

Scrapbooking has been a passion of mine for over seven years now. I started out just having stickers, and now I could open my own shop with all the supplies I've collected. I love about every company, and I don't hesitate to try something new. If you show it to me, I'll probably buy it (they love to see me walk in the scrapbook store). Besides being a part of Ready, Set, Create, I also design for A Cherry On Top (www.acherryontop), and I've been doing this for almost two years.

Happy Scrapping!
